Morgan Tempel is a registered nurse (BSN) with over 20 years of experience and an internationally board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to supporting mothers during the postpartum period. Recognizing that many mothers leave the hospital without the continued support they need, Morgan was inspired to open The Milky Minute in 2020, a private lactation consulting business focused on offering personalized breastfeeding guidance to new moms.
As she worked with more families, Morgan saw a greater need for comprehensive, collaborative care beyond just lactation support. She believed families deserved a place where they could access primary care, mental health resources, pediatric services, and more, all in one location. This vision led to the creation of Newma Wellness, which opened in August 2023, providing holistic family care.
Morgan has been happily married for 20 years and is the proud mother of 4 children, ranging in age from 6 to 26. Her home is filled with life and laughter. Outside of her work, Morgan enjoys hiking, exploring nature, indoor plant care, and baking breads.
She is deeply passionate about helping families thrive and is excited to continue this important work through Newma Wellness.
